About Vanessa:
Vanessa Barnes is a native Floridian and a graduate of The University of Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Since beginning her career in 2002 she has sold over 46 million dollars worth of homes, assisting over 300 domestic and international customers. She is a Broker-Associate with Keller Williams Realty located in Celebration, Florida and am proud to be a part of numerous voluntary and professional organizations including: The Kissimmee Chamber of Commerce, Board of Directors with the Celebration Area Council, Certified International Property Specialist Designee, Member of the Orlando Regional International Council, and Member of the Transnational Referral Network. Her experience includes bank-owned properties, short sales, new and existing homes; relocation, short-term rental, vacation, and investment properties.
Certifications
Transnational Referral Certified (TRC) - With this certification REALTORs® are an ICREA member and have successfully completed training on making and receiving client referrals from professionals in other countries. TRC agents are well prepared to provide quality service to buyers and sellers with international property interests. ICREA sets standards for international real estate practice and facilitates worldwide real estate transactions.
Resort and Second Home Property Specialist (RSPS) - A real estate practitioner who facilitates to buying, selling or management of properties for investment, development, retirement, or as a 2nd home in a resort, recreational and/or vacation destination.
Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) - The Certified International Property Specialist is part of a specialty membership group for international practitioners of the National Association of REALTORS®. This designation prepares REALTORS® to service the growing international market in their local community by focusing on culture, exchange rates, investment trends, and legal issues. The CIPS Network is comprised of real estate professionals in 50+ countries who deal in all types of real estate and are focused on the international market. Whether assisting foreign investors, helping local buyers invest abroad, or serving a growing immigrant population in local markets, CIPS members are consumers’ best providers of professional skills in the unique aspect of international real estate.
Certified Short Sale Professional (CSP) - A short sale is when the lender of record agrees to discount its loan payoff to accommodate the sale of a house. This designation enables agents to fully understand the complexities of short sales and foreclosures to better serve their clients.
About Jaime:
Jaime Barnes was born in Puerto Rico and moved here when he was 6 years old. He and his family moved to Kissimmee in 1980. He received his undergraduate degree from The University of Florida with a Bachelor's in Microbiology and then graduated from Life Chiropractic School in Marietta, Georgia in 2001 with a Doctorate of Chiropractic.
He relocated back to the Kissimmee area where he has practiced as a Chiropractor since 2001. He has always had a passion for Real Estate and received his Real Estate License in 2006. He is excited to be working with Buyers and Sellers in the Central Florida Area and abroad!
